After looking at David Tracy’s piece yesterday on the Bentley Continental GT Convertible getting a Tweed top.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Now, though I’d love a Tweed top especially a Linton Tweed as it’s made two streets away from where I live.
I do love the lines of the Continental GT coupe,
Especially the rear.
Though the interior is not quite to my liking.

Is this a new chassis or another facelift. I like it much better seems less bubbly than the last gen

I think even in 20 years they’ll still be a bit more than 5 grand.
I think it’ll crap out before it’s old enough to get that cheap.

No idea. I saw the back end of the convertible and it looks fantastic, the curves, the flowing lines, the symmetry and the elegance .
I like how the exhaust almost mirrors the taillights.
I mean, look at this.

It’s a very handsome car.
That particular interior isn’t just gaudy, IT’S SHOUTY! The cream/blue combination is superb, but the chrome? Ugh...
You can spec it with more wood and less chrome and quilting, and it’s much nicer. I was playing with the configurator not long ago: https://oppositelock.kinja.com/dreaming-in-colour-1829066096

The centre console is too cluttered.
Keep the dashboard but give me the centre console of the Audi A5,
or even an A6.

This exterior style is a lot more athletic looking than the prior one (the interior is a bit too 21st century Belle Epoque, hints at guillotines or walls ) , but I still would rather have a 90s Continental SC:
Unfortunately, these haven’t depreciated like later models, and running costs must be hilarious, so it won’t happen unless I win a nice lottery.

I do like the classic looks of the Arnage or the Brooklands.
Oh man, looking at Autotrader U.K. and came across this beauty.
1961 Bentley Continental Seri es II 6.8 litre. £450,000 though.

Yeah the S1/2/3 Continentals are amazingly elegant cars. That one is crazy money, but also crazy nice (and what a color) , if you want the best, you gotta open up the wallet .
